Prior to law school, opening my firm, The Law Office of James M. Barber, I gained an in-depth understanding of the physics and dynamics of collisions by doing accident reconstruction work. During the summers, while still in engineering school, I worked for a coal company doing underground surveying, and worked for a large chemical company in vessel design. These experiences proved invaluable in handling personal injury cases.
